PhD matters

Well, as promised earlier..this is de update for my phd application progress.. Bef this adelah kuciwa few times coz ada supervisor yg di email tuh x respon langsung or application was rejected...

First of all, let me introduce my proposed topic for my PhD research<--asal tetiba skema nih??. Basically, my topic is Quality of Work Life (QWL) among Malaysian Public Hospital Staff: Focuses on nurse <--- not my complete tittle. QWL is still in HR area. Too few research been carried out in Malaysia for QWL, and most of the journals that i read, SMEnyer are from us. Terlalu sikit and almost xder okehh in uk, oz and NZ.

As advised by friends of mine yg tgh buat PhD jugek <--- yzma and Tun, saya telah mengemail dgn byknya supervisor2 in QWL area, local and overseas <---excluding us coz saya berat ati nak g us. For the mean time, i received few 'positive' feedbacks from local and overseas lecturer yg 'ready' to be my supervisor.

First offer yg saya rasa sgt baik supervisornya <--based on jurnals that i read, Sti**** Univ, UK, 2nd is a supervisor yg only specialised dlm Msian cases, Wes**** Aus******, OZ, and the third from Woll**** Univ,OZ oossoo. But, my priority is more to Stir*** Univ, UK.

My local offer comes from UIA. This offer is a 'package' offer. If i accept this, i kena resign n kejer kat UIA disamping buat research yg i nak buat tuh <--masih berat hati la plak, but yg baiknya i dont have to think about how to juggle my time between my study and work... 2nd local is from UPM, and my proposed supervisor tuh mmg SME in QWL area, and he is the pioneer in this area kat Msia nih <----excited okehhh plus he is my ex lecturer masa master degree....

The last one is from UM. A chinese lady. Lecturer ni adalah student pada my lecturer kat UPM <---hehe, what do u think?? which one is better??? Oh..don't answer, i knoww....

Last few weeeks, i called my ex supervisor masa my master degree and the next day i went for lunch with him. Konon2nyer nak bg tau this berita la coz dia kata anything bg tau... dok tgh2 excited bercerita tu, he asked me to apply to for us univ..*toing*. Tetiba, dtg plak my thesis examiner joined us... he osoo cadangkan i g us. Alamak.....reasons??? terlalu bykkkk....yg i paling ingat adalah....us byk SME in this area <-- mmg i admit, u will explore new cases or issues coz us sgtla advancednyer in this area...bla..bla..bla...plus approaches use by them in teaching are diff from other countries.... <---- ohh..do i need to start all over again???!!! Lecturer2 iteww jugek proposed few places that they knows and their ex univ <--ceh, patutla. dua2 ex us univ..ayya.... *sigh

Well, for me.. i will just go with the flow. Semua tempat ada advantages and disadvantagesnyer....agak2 xtau nak pilih...local pun bolehhh..izizt wating my time meng'apply' all those univ??? <---no, no..at least i know where is my level. hehe :) dlm malas2 tuh pun i da browsed thru byk us univ gak....tp, still x email mana2 supervisor lgiks.... hehe.
